My Travel Diary (as of November’17)

And seek by means of what Allah has given you the future abode, and do not neglect your portion of this world, and do good (to others) as Allah has done good to you, and do not seek to make mischief in the land, surely Allah does not love the mischief-makers

  1. Assalamu alaykum wa rahmatullah!

I am feeling amazed and inspired by your blog; mashaAllah, it truly is a manifestation of Allah’s Grace that He has granted us so many faculties to exert in His Path.
I hold very similar interests by the way and could identify with you for this reason…I especially respect you more as a Muslim considering that you profess to be open to learn/un-learn/re-learn…felt like I was writing those words! 🙂

It goes without saying that the ultimate purpose of our existence is ubudiyyah and one should be careful not to compromise on any of the standards that demands of us; (i think i am just reiterating what you’ve already said) 🙂

I come from a military background so I’ve pretty much been on the move throughout childhood; as of now, I have come to Malaysia for a masters in Islamic Finance, alhamdulillah,

I’d really appreciate if you could let me (and consequently my friends :D) know if you’d be open to having travel companions on your future trips in sha Allah!… #sisterhood #collective-ubudiyyah #reflections!

Sorry if that is too audacious an idea though! it is only out of love and warmth that I couldn’t help but feel after having read the intro to your series 🙂

    Regards,
    Wassalam!

What an honour to have you leaving a beautiful comment that will surely motivate me to continue striving the best in life and Hereafter.

I am not as great as it sounds in the blog, just sharing what I myself learned along the way. I am doing my best to learn from whoever I encounter, directly or indirectly, as what was thought by our Prophet SAW.

That’s a great idea! I am all for ukhuwwah fillah bonding and nation-state division is just a line drawn by ignorant beings trying to divide us all. Maybe we should try to meet up somewhere in ….btw where in Malaysia are you currently studying? I am staying far in Borneo.

I would love to hear more from you. Jazakillah Khayr Katseer
